Trials & Tribulations of a (mostly) Student-Run Support Center
When an opportunity arose to make the transition to a student-lead support center I jumped in, with a partially formulated plan using ITIL, JITT, and ITSM theories that guaranteed a highly successful short-term. The success of the plan has been flexibility and trust. This presentation will be a mixture of lessons learned and future developments, with the introduction of some data. I firmly believe when given the opportunity to succeed most traditional college-aged students will be highly successful, in short bursts, with varying degrees of repeatability.
